Week 45 Day 3: Where Can Wisdom Be Found?
Question:What Is the Conclusion of Job’s Final Statement?
Scripture Reading
Meditation: God’s Story
- Job refuses to speak wickedly or deceitfully. He insists that he will never admit to wrongdoing as long as he lives, and he firmly maintains his righteousness without wavering.
- Job says that his friends have become his enemies and reminds them of the fate of the wicked.
- Job raises a profound question: Everything else can be found, but where can wisdom be found?
- God understands the way to wisdom and knows where it dwells.
Meditation: My Story
- Identity - Wealth lies hidden in mines, deep beneath the earth, out of sight, yet it is there. God’s wisdom cannot be compared with material treasures such as sapphires, gold, and rubies, and it is difficult to discover. Yet the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. When we face difficulties and feel helpless, where should we turn to seek wisdom?
